Raipur, 9 December (Hindus). Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai released the book “Cow – Religion and Science” published by Chhattisgarh State Cow Protection and Promotion Committee at his residence office on Monday.

On this occasion, the committee members told Chief Minister Shri Sai that the religious and scientific importance of the cow has been explained in this book. Cow Science examination is being organized across the country on January 4, 2025, in which approximately 1.25 lakh school students from across the country will participate.

Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated the committee members for the successful conduct of this examination being organized to make children aware of the importance of cow. He said that the state government is committed to the protection and promotion of mother cow. Our government has announced to increase the subsidy amount being given for fodder to 125 cow sheds of the state from Rs 25 to Rs 35 per cow. The state government has constituted a commission for the conservation and promotion of mother cow. The state government has decided to build Gau Dham and promote the use of cow urine and dung. He said that free distribution of this book from door to door will create awareness among the people about Mother Cow. On this occasion, Shatabdi Subodh Pandey, compiler-editor of the book Cow Dharma and Science and other distinguished citizens were present.a
