Rains Lash Parts Of City; Hailstorm Hits Hinjawadi (VIDEO)

Following a sudden thunderstorm forming over northwest Pune city, including Hinjawadi, Wakad, Balewadi, and the Dehu Road area, Hinjawadi experienced a sudden hailstorm this afternoon, providing a brief respite from the sweltering heat.

As soon as the rain intensified, Punekars flooded social media with visuals of the rain from Hinjawadi and other areas.

Earlier this month, the city saw rainfall for three days.

Lately, the temperatures in the city were rising and touching 40 degrees Celsius. Areas like Koregaon Park, Lohegaon, Shirur, and Chinchwad have seen temperatures crossing 40 degrees Celsius multiple times.
