Chakradharpur: Railway administration is working to connect the third railway line on the Main line on the Kazipet-Vijayawada railway section of Secunderabad Railway Division of South Central Railway. Pre-NI and NI work will be done for this work, which will affect rail operations.
For this reason, it has been decided to cancel two major express trains passing through Chakradharpur Railway Division from 09 to 16 February.
Passengers will face a lot of problems with this decision of the railway, as the canceled trains pass through the Chakradharpur railway division on the same day or a day later.
Canceled trains and their dates
Railways has announced temporary cancellation of the following trains:
Train canceled on 13 February:
- Train number 18111: Tatanagar – Yashwantpur Weekly Express
Trains canceled on 09 and 16 February:
- Train number 18112: Yashwantpur – Tatanagar Weekly Express
Important: Passengers traveling on these dates will have to make alternative arrangements.
Five trains re-schedules, passengers will face problems
South Eastern Railway has re-scheduled five important trains due to the latest trains. Due to this, passengers faced additional trouble in the journey.
Re-scheduled trains:
12834 Howrah-Ahmedabad Superfast Express:
- First time: 11:05 pm
- New time: 12:35 pm (delay of one and a half hours)
12022 Badbil-Howrah Janshatabdi Express:
- First time: 1:40 pm
- New time: 10:15 pm (9 hours delay)
12021 Howrah-Badbil Janshatabdi Express:
- First time: 2:45 pm
- New time: 6:00 pm
18030 Shalimar-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal Express:
- First time: 5:00 pm
- New time: 11:00 pm (4 hours delay)
12870 Howrah-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal Superfast Express:
- First time: 7:50 pm
- New time: 9:50 pm (2 hours delay)
Note: Before traveling to the re-scheduled trains, the passengers must check the status of your train on the railway helpline or IRCTC website.
Bardhman-Hatia MEMU train will be canceled on 10 February
Railways have announced the cancellation of the Bardhman-Hatia MEMU train on 10 February.
Canceled trains:
- Bardhman-Hatia Memu (canceled on 10 February)
- Return train Hatia-Bardhman Memu also canceled
Causes of cancellation: Block requirement in South Eastern Railway.
Other canceled trains:
10 to 16 February:
- Asansol-Adra Memu canceled
10, 14 and 15 February:
- Asansol-Purulia Memu canceled
On 9 February:
- Dhanbad-Jhargram Memu canceled (from both sides)
