Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A railway Ticket Examiner (TTE) was arrested in Jabalpur for allegedly raping a woman on pretext of marriage on Friday. The woman also accused the TTE of cheating her out of ₹12 lakh during their relationship.

Nakul Singh, has been arrested in Jabalpur’s Gorakhpur area for allegedly raping a woman from Katni by promising marriage.

According to the woman’s complaint, Nakul Singh established a relationship with her under false assurances of marriage. She alleged that he raped her twice at different locations and later refused to fulfill his promise of marriage.

The victim also accused the TTE of cheating her out of ₹12 lakh during their association. When he declined to marry her, she approached the police and filed a complaint.

Based on her statement and evidence, the police arrested Nakul Singh.

The authorities are investigating further to gather details about the incidents and the monetary fraud allegations. This case highlights the issue of trust and exploitation, as well as the legal consequences of false promises in relationships.

The victim has sought justice, and police efforts are ongoing to ensure accountability.
