Rail services have been badly affected due to dense fog and bad weather in North India. As of Saturday morning, more than 14 trains were running behind schedule. Passengers are facing a lot of problems due to lack of visibility and cold.

- Kaifiyat Express: Late by 37 minutes.
- Vikramshila Express: Delayed by 50 minutes.
- Satyagraha Express: Late by 56 minutes.
- Nauchandi Express: Delayed by 85 minutes.
- Padmavat Express: Delayed by 59 minutes.
- AP Express: 97 minutes late.
- Gondwana Superfast Express: Delayed by 138 minutes.
- MP Sampark Kranti: Delayed by 36 minutes.
- Jallianwala B Express: Delayed by 1 hour 8 minutes.
- ANVT Humsafar Express: Late by 57 minutes.
Passengers are forced to wait on the platform due to train delays and cold. Railway administration has advised passengers to use the relevant websites and helpline numbers for information about the situation.
Temperature drops due to heavy rain in Delhi
Due to heavy rains in Delhi since Friday, a sharp drop in temperature has been recorded.
- Minimum temperature: 12 degrees Celsius.
- Maximum temperature: 19 degrees Celsius.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi recorded the highest December rainfall in 15 years on Friday. Heavy rain began early Thursday and continued throughout the day Friday.
Air quality improving but still ‘very poor’
There has been a slight improvement in Delhi’s air quality due to heavy rains, but it still remains in the ‘very poor’ category.
- Air Quality Index (AQI): Recorded at 355 at 2 pm on Saturday.
Road traffic has also been affected due to rain and fog, affecting daily life.

The Meteorological Department has predicted fog and cold to persist for the next few days. People have been advised to remain alert and take special precautions during traffic.
