Anti-Corruption Bureau’s Additional Director General Hemant Priyadarshi said that after verifying the complaint against Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Tax Department, Jaipur, Chaubey Lal Meena, a case was registered on behalf of the bureau’s headquarter. Under the leadership of Research Officer of Special Research Team Jaipur, Lalit Sharma, with the help of Bureau’s Jaipur and Intelligence Unit, various teams have been formed and search action has been taken at three different places on Thursday morning. According to the preliminary assessment of the Bureau’s First Information Report and the documents received so far, Commercial Tax Department Jaipur Deputy Commissioner Chaubey Lal Meena and his wife have been reported to have acquired many assets. Which is more than his legal income. The accused Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Tax Department Jaipur has been found to have invested his illegal income in residential, commercial, plots, flats and mutual funds, insurance etc. in Jaipur. Here, under the direction of ACB Inspector General Sawai Singh Godara, various teams of ACB are continuing the search operation at the premises of Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Tax Department, Jaipur, in which more assets are likely to be unearthed.
