The CBI team has started raids in Raipur and Bhilai, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The agency has started raiding the house of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. In the Mahadev Betting App case, raids are going on at many places including Baghel’s house. CBI has also entered the Mahadev betting app case after the ED. Thousands of crores of rupees were cheated in this case. CBI officials reached Bhilai and Raipur residences in the morning. According to the information received, the CBI team has reached to raid the Mahadev Betting App case. Earlier, the ED team also conducted raids at the same time.

 

Now CBI has come…

Bhupesh Baghel’s office said in a social media post, “Now CBI has come. Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is going to Delhi today for a meeting of” Drafting Committee “formed for the AICC meeting to be held in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) on 8 and 9 April. Before that CBI has reached Raipur and Bhilpur.”

What is Mahadev Betting App?

The Mahadev Betting app is an app made for online betting. On this, users used to play live games like Poker, Card Games and Chance Games. The app was also used for illegal betting on sports like cricket, badminton, tennis, football and election. ED raids were conducted recently.

The ED claimed that a large amount of cash was recovered from Bhupesh Baghel’s house. ED officials called for two cash count machines for this calculation. The ED has also seized some electronic gadgets and documents from the premises of Chaitanya Baghel, son of Bhupesh Baghel. The case was related to the liquor scam.
