Rahul Gandhi’s activeness in Bihar, stop ‘escape, job do’ will be included in the march

The Congress has accelerated its preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar. In this connection, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is on a tour of Bihar today. He will join the Congress’s ‘Exodus Stop, Job Do’ in Begusarai district. He will then return to Patna and address the ‘Constitution Security Conference’. Rahul Gandhi will also meet party workers at Sadakat Ashram, the state office of Congress in Patna.

Third tour after January

This is Rahul Gandhi’s third visit to Bihar after January this year. Earlier, he had appealed to party workers to challenge the BJP ideologically and defeat it in the upcoming assembly elections.

Appeal to youth

Rahul Gandhi shared a video message on social media on Sunday, in which he appealed to the youth of Bihar to attend the march of Begusarai wearing a white T-shirt. He said that the purpose of this padyatra is to bring out the problems of the youth of Bihar, who are facing the huge shortage of government jobs and losses due to privatization. Rahul said that this step is necessary to pressurize the state government and bring change.

The role of Kanhaiya Kumar

Begusarai, where Rahul Gandhi will participate in the padyatra, is also the home district of Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar. Kanhaiya Kumar, who has once been the President of the JNU Students Union, remains the main face of this padyatra. He contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from this seat on a CPI ticket, but had to face defeat.

Grand Alliance vs NDA

This time in the Bihar assembly elections, the grand alliance of Congress, RJD and Left parties is united and contesting against the ruling NDA. The NDA is being led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and it also includes BJP.
