Video Goes Viral: PWD Engineer Beaten With ‘Chappal’ For Allegedly Molesting Woman On Pretext Of Offering Job In Gwalior | FP Photo

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A young woman was found thrashing a PWD sub-engineer with her ‘Chappals‘ for allegedly taking her into a room and trying to molest her on pretext of offering a job in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior.

The incident occurred on Sunday, and a video of the same has gone viral on social media on Monday.

The accused PWD employee has been identified as Ram Swaroop Kushwaha, resident of Datia and sub-engineer posted in Dabra. The victim was heard accusing of cheating her in the name of a job.

Dabra SDOP Vivek Sharma told Free Press that the girl has not lodged any complaint at the police station yet. If the complaint is received, strict action will be taken against the accused.

‘You have troubled me a lot’

In the viral video, the girl was heard saying that the engineer had troubled her a lot and also threatening him to call the police. The girl was seen throwing chappal fiercely at the engineer. The girl then dragged the engineer outside the rest house and beat him there as well.

According to information, Ram Swaroop Kushwaha called the girl at Dabra Rest House on the pretext of a job on Sunday evening. He then took the girl inside the room and tried to molest her.

Furious, the girl took out her slipper and started thrashing him. However, the engineer tried to save himself but the girl continued thrashing him.

No formal complaint lodged yet

Meanwhile, when the PWD Sub Engineer Ramswaroop Kushwaha got the opportunity, he fled from the spot. It was reported that one of Kushwaha’s acquaintances, introduced him to a girl who needed a job and he in return, assured her of a job.

After the video went viral, the police reached the spot but the girl did not lodge any complaint. The police then called Sub Engineer Ramswaroop Kushwaha, and he told two people came with the girl and helped her to beat me up. He then refused to say anything to the police and mentioned his bad health.

However, the police assured strict action would be taken, if the girl lodged any complaint.
