Punjabi singer Manpreet Singh, known as Singga, on Tuesday, raised concerns over his and his family’s safety, revealing that he had been under surveillance for a long time, which forced him to change his residence multiple times. He also questioned the Punjab police about how many more times he would have to relocate for them to ensure his safety.

Singga took to his Instagram handle and wrote in Punjabi, “Hope you all are doing well. I have been under surveillance for a long time, and due to this, I have already changed my house 2-3 times. I want to ask the Punjab Police—how many more times will I have to change my house for my family’s safety? How many threats have I received? How many times has my car been followed?”

The complainant has stated that the singer “incited the youth of Punjab to take the wrong path by promoting weapons in his songs.”
