Weather of Punjab: The effect of fog can still be seen in some parts of Punjab. Due to the current conditions, the temperature in the cities of the state will fall by 2 to 3 degrees within a week. A Western Disturbance has become active towards the Western Himalayas. Due to which there is a possibility of snowfall on the mountains in the coming days. According to the Meteorological Centre, today the effect of fog will be seen in seven districts of Punjab, Amritsar, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala. However, the sky will remain clear in the afternoon. Whereas no alert has been issued in Chandigarh. Along with this, there is no possibility of rain in Punjab till the end of November. In such a situation, dry cold will increase.

The pollution level in Chandigarh is continuously decreasing. The AQI in Chandigarh was found to be less than 200, while pollution levels crossed 300 recently. Along with this, the situation in Punjab remains the same. 5 districts of Punjab are in the grip of pollution.
Patiala remains the most polluted city in Punjab. AQI 250 was recorded here. While AQI was recorded at 245 in Ludhiana, 241 in Amritsar, 240 in Mandi Gobindgarh and AQI 234 in Jalandhar.
