A shocking video from a private school in Baddon village, lacated in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur, has surfaced online. The video shows a woman assaulting a boy who appears to be 6–7 years old.
According to reports, the woman seen in the video is the principal of the school where the incident was recorded.
After the video went viral online, many users criticised the harsh punishment given to the student. Some users even demanded action against the accused teacher, calling the incident “unacceptable.”

Shortly after his tweet, the Punjab Minister responded to the post and clarified, saying, “The video is from a private school, and the woman in the video is the school principal.”
In another post, Harjot Singh Bains stated, “A video of a teacher beating a student is circulating on social media, falsely claimed to be from a government school. It is to clarify that the video is from a private school. We’ve directed the district administration to file an FIR against the school owner, principal, and teacher involved.”
“Some media houses have misreported it as a government school. Kindly do not defame our hardworking government school teachers who go above and beyond—arranging extra classes, wake-up calls, and ensuring students excel in exams. One false narrative tarnishes their immense efforts,” he added.
