punjab news : The Central Government has sanctioned Rs 666.81 crore for the construction of Greenfield Pathankot Link Road in Punjab. This 12.34 km long road will connect Talwara Jat village on NH-44 with Gobindsar village on Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway. People going to Jammu and Kashmir will also benefit. Streamlining the existing route from 53 km to 37 km will significantly reduce travel time via the link road.

In this regard, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has given information by posting on social media platform X. Gadkari wrote that we have sanctioned funds for highways. After the construction of this highway, people will save both time and money. Because the journey of one hour will be completed in just 20 minutes.
