New Delhi A case of murder has come to light after the kidnapping of a child in Kotbhai village of Muktsar, Punjab. On November 25, child Harmandeep was abducted and a ransom of Rs 30 lakh was demanded from him.
Child killed for not getting ransom money
If sources are to be believed, a few days after the kidnapping, Harmandeep was killed by the kidnappers for not getting the ransom amount. But when the police arrested the other accused including the main kidnapper, the murder of Harmandeep was revealed to them.
The police is not yet ready to speak anything on this matter. Harmandeep’s life could have been saved if the police had arrested the accused in time. There has been uproar in the child’s family since the news of the murder.
