Pune Man Slashes Youth’s Neck Repeatedly With Blade After Getting Pushed For Touching His Pocket |

A shocking incident has come to light in Pune where a young man was stabbed in the neck with a blade over a trivial reason on Tuesday morning.

As per the report by ABP Majha, the attacker attempted to kill the victim simply because he put his hand in his pocket while talking.

The seriously injured person has been identified as Sushil Ajinath Thorat (age 26, resident of Bhagwa Chowk, Kasewadi, Bhavani Peth). He is currently undergoing treatment at Sassoon Hospital. In this case, the police have registered a case of attempted to murder against Bharat alias Harish More (resident of Kasewadi, Bhavani Peth) and have arrested him.

Early morning argument

The incident took place at Golden Jubilee Chowk in Kasewadi at 6 am on Monday. Complainant Sushil, along with his friends Aniket Yadav and Abhijit Jadhav, had returned early in the morning after attending the Ambedkar Jayanti program at Vishrantwadi.

While they were chatting at Golden Jubilee Chowk, the accused More — who was known to them by name — arrived at the scene. He put his hand in Sushil’s pocket.

Sushil pushed him away, causing him to fall to the ground. More got up and started abusing him. “How did you knock me down? I’ll kill you now!” he shouted. He then took out a blade and attacked Sushil, slashing him hard on the neck. Sushil was seriously injured. Bharat also hit Sushil on the ear and hand with blade.

When his friends and passersby tried to help, the accused threatened them, saying, “If anyone comes to save him, I’ll cut everyone into pieces,” which caused the crowd to scatter. Two of Sushil’s friends mustered the courage to try and catch him, but Bharat fled.

Sushil was immediately admitted to Sassoon Hospital for treatment. The Khadak Police reached Sassoon Hospital and registered a complaint. Police Sub-Inspector Mahendra Kamble is currently investigating the case.
