In a shocking incident in Pune’s Wagholi area, a 27-year-old man who works at a flour mill allegedly raped a girl from fourth grade after luring her with a promise of chocolates.
According to ABP Majha, the girl left home around 7am on Monday to head to school. There’s a flour mill on the way, and the 27-year-old guy who worked there stopped her, promising chocolates, and took her inside the mill. That’s where he raped her.
After a while, some people saw the girl crying at some distance from the mill. They asked her what happened, and she told them everything. Right away, they called the police. When the cops got the info, they showed up, grabbed the guy, and filed a case against him. Wagholi Police are looking into it.
A few days back, another awful incident happened in Pune’s Warje area. A 12-year-old girl got kidnapped and raped at a hotel near Khadakwasla Dam. Four people, including her neighbour, got arrested for it.
The police say the girl’s parents and older brother had gone to work, leaving her and her sister home. Later that afternoon, the neighbour called her outside and told her to come with him and his friend on a bike ride. She didn’t know what they were up to and went along. They took her to a hotel near Khadakwasla Dam and raped her there.
When her parents got back from work, they freaked out looking for her. After a bit, they called the police, who tracked the guy’s phone to the hotel. Cops arrested the neighbour and his friend and got the girl out of there. They think the guy was planning to take her to Uttar Pradesh.
The police also nabbed the hotel owner and manager because they didn’t check IDs of the girl or the guys before giving them a room.
