The Supreme Court had also clarified that the Governor should take a decision on the bills sent to the President within a certain time limit. He said that the decision of the Supreme Court is clear from the fact that recently the President was instructed in a case. Where are we going? What is happening in the country? We have to think sensitively. The question is not whether the bills should be reconsidered or not. We have never compromised with democracy before. However, today the President is being asked to take a decision within a specific time limit. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has expressed the view that if this is not done, the bill will be converted into law.

 

Jagdeep Dhankhar further said, “We have judges who will enact laws, they will also work as an executive body, they will come forward as a super parliament and do not have any responsibility to do all this. Because they have no responsibility under the law. The President is the highest position of India and he takes an oath to protect the Constitution.
