The accident occurred on the sixth floor of the hotel. The district administration said that the fire was on the upper floor and the fire brigade vehicles immediately reached the spot and controlled the situation. The good news is that no player or officer was injured or damaged in the fire. All were taken out safely.
PSL CEO gave information
PSL CEO Salman Naseer said that ‘no player or any other person in the team has faced any kind of problem.’ The fire was controlled in time. The fire was prevented from spreading to the hotel. He also said that, ‘Fire Department teams worked hard to extinguish the fire and overcame it.’
Fire was controlled in half an hour
The fire in the hotel was extinguished by the fire department in just half an hour. CDA emergency director Zafar Iqbal said that the rescue operation consisted of six fire engines and 50 fire personnel. His hard work was extinguished in half an hour.
Islamabad defeated Lahore Kalandars
The first match of PSL 2025 in Pakistan was played between Islamabad United and Lahore Kalandars. In this first match, Islamabad United won the toss and decided to bowl first. In such a situation, the team of Lahore Kalandars, who came out to bat first, could only score 139 runs in 19.2 overs. Islamabad United won the inaugural match of the PSL 2025 tournament by achieving this target in just 17.4 overs.
