Amid divorce rumours, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan attended daughter Aaradhya Bachchan’s annual day event at her school on Thursday evening. Several photos and videos of the proud parents have been doing the rounds on social media. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan also accompanied them to cheer his granddaughter.
In one of the videos, Aishwarya and Abhishek are seen recording Aaradhya as she performed a play on stage with Shah Rukh Khan’s son AbRam Khan and others.
Aaradhya reportedly played the role of Mrs Kringle in the play. As she performed her dialogues and sang, the Bachchan family members were seen clapping and cheering for her. Aaradhya is also receiving praise from netizens for her performance.

Reacting to one of Aaradhya’s videos, an X user wrote, “More of Aaradhya’s performance at her school’s annual day event today. Notice the pride on her parents and granddad’s face the moment she starts singing.”
“Aaradhya as Mrs Kringle at her annual day event today. Her voice projection and dialogue delivery is already immaculate, runs in the family of course,” wrote another user.
Abhishek and Aishwarya’s divorce rumours
In July 2024, both Abhishek and Aishwarya attended the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai, but they made separate appearances. Notably, Aishwarya chose not to pose with the Bachchan family for the photographers, which added fuel to the speculation about their divorce.
Earlier this year, reports surfaced suggesting that Aishwarya had moved out of the Bachchan residence due to strained relations with her mother-in-law, veteran actress Jaya Bachchan. This rumour, combined with the couple’s separate public appearances at events, kept fans and media outlets speculating about their relationship status.
The last time Aishwarya and the Bachchan family were seen together publicly was at the screening of Agastya Nanda’s film The Archies.
