Projects Worth ₹50 Crore To Be Executed In District Through Corporate Social Responsibility Funding | FPJ
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Development projects worth about Rs 50 crore will be executed in the district from funds to be received under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Eleven departments of the state government have prepared the proposals which will be finalized soon and companies working in the district will be persuaded to give the amount under their CSR Fund.
Proposals would be sent to the state level committee
Disclosing this at a meeting held at the collector’s office on Tuesday, collector Asheesh Singh said that the proposals would be sent to the state level committee constituted under CSR fund for approval. CEO of District Panchayat Siddharth Jain and officers of other related departments were present in the meeting.
Collector Singh said that the effort was to get as much development work done in the district through CSR fund as possible. The amount would be used for development work for which budget was not available from the departmental head.
Various departments proposed the following under CSR project
The Education Department has given proposals for the repair of schools and hostel buildings etc.
Social Justice Department has prepared proposals for construction of new buildings of ashram and houses for leprosy patients and renovation of buildings of departmental institutions.
Home Guard Department has prepared proposals for disaster management equipment, rescue vehicles and shed construction, while the
Scheduled Caste-Tribe Welfare Department has prepared proposals for establishment of library in hostels, purchase of mattresses, beds, blankets, sports material, solar panel and water cooler.
Ayush Department has prepared a proposal for Panchkarma table and other necessary equipment and machines for Ayush dispensaries.
Women And Child Development Department has prepared proposals for repair of Anganwadi buildings, solar panel in Government Children’s Home, construction of new kitchen, new dining hall and housing arrangement for destitute youths of After Care Centre whose age is more than 18 years.
District Panchayat has prepared proposals for seven material recovery centres established under Swachh Bharat Mission, upgradation of facility centre, construction of segregation shed extension and vehicle for plastic waste collection etc.
