MP: Professor In Kannod College Destroys Radha-Krishna Rangoli With Feet, Sacked After Video Sparks Outrage | X
Dewas: A shocking incident has come to light from Madhya Pradesh’s Dewas. A video of an assistant professor of a government college in Kannod , has gone viral, in the video he is seen allegedly trampling a rangoli of Hindu deity Radha-Krishna and the tricolor with his feet and trying to erase it.
Student’s affiliated to RSS’ student wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) objected to this matter and lodged a complaint, after which a case was registered against the assistant professor. At the same time, the collector has directed to remove the professor from the college.
The professor in the video has been identified as Jujair Ali Rangwala. Rangwala was taught chemistry at the Government Arts and Commerce College in Kannod was booked based on a complaint by the college administration.
“The assistant professor Jujair Ali Rangwala has been booked u/s 298 and 196 BNS (damaging, destroying or defiling a sacred object and actions which promote enmity or disharmony between groups or communities) on the complaint by the college administration,” the police was quoted saying by The New Indian Express.
Students affiliated to ABVP submitted the CCTV footage allegedly showing the professor deliberately damaging Rangoli with his foot and screenshots of the professor’s offensive WhatsApp statuses, including those pertaining to Indian cricket team’s recent Champions Trophy title win.
