Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Nagpur: Tribute paid at RSS memorial and initiation land

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Nagpur in Maharashtra on Sunday. During this time, he gave Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and other Sarsanghchalak M.S. Paid tribute to Golwalkar. The Prime Minister visited Dr. Hedgewar Smriti Mandir at Reshimbagh, where he was present with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other leaders.

The tour took place at a time when the RSS’s annual program was organized on the occasion of Gudi Padwa in Nagpur. Prime Minister Modi reached Nagpur at around 9 am, where he was welcomed by senior leaders of the state government and central government at the airport.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat also paid tribute to the founders before the Prime Minister reached Smriti Mandir. After this, the Prime Minister worshiped Mahatma Buddha and visited Deekshabhoomi.

Tribute to Dr. Ambedkar at Deeksha Bhumi

Prime Minister Modi reached Deekshabhoomi and paid tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. This is the historical place where Ambedkar accepted Buddhism in 1956 with his followers. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Chief Minister Fadnavis and Union Minister Gadkari.

Greetings to Shyamji Krishna Verma on death anniversary

Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to freedom fighter Shyamji Krishna Verma on his death anniversary. He said that Verma’s sacrifice and dedication will always inspire the countrymen. Verma founded the ‘Indian Home Rule Society’, ‘India House’ and ‘The Indian Socialist’ in London. He was born on 4 October 1857 in Mandvi, Gujarat and died on 30 March 1930 in Geneva.

The Prime Minister wrote on social media that the country will never forget his sacrifice and he will remain an inspiration for the coming generations.
