Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Haryana: Hisar gets first airport, flight service starts for Ayodhya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday gave a historic gift to Hisar in Haryana and gave the first airport. He flagged off the Hisar-Ayodhya flight service and laid the foundation stone of the new terminal building of Hisar Airport.

Direct connectivity from Hisar to Ayodhya
In his address, Prime Minister Modi said that this day is an important step towards the development of Haryana. He said, “Today a direct flight has started from Haryana to Ayodhya Dham. That is, Sri Krishna’s holy land Haryana has been directly connected to Shri Ram’s birthplace Ayodhya.” The Prime Minister also informed that flights will also be started from Hisar to other cities in future.

Aerial facility now for the public
The Prime Minister said, “My promise was that even the wearer of the air slippers would be able to fly in the airplane, and today that dream is coming true.” Describing the new terminal building of Hisar Airport as a symbol of the development of Haryana, it said that it will take the state to new heights.

During the program, Prime Minister Modi congratulated the citizens of Haryana for this new beginning and said that this opportunity is not only a geographical connectivity, but it is also going to open the door to the economic and social progress of the state.

This step is considered to be another achievement towards empowering regional air connectivity under the Prime Minister’s’ UDAN) scheme.
