Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the central government is celebrating the birthday of Lord Birsa Munda as Tribal Pride Day from the year 2021. The Chief Minister said that Lord Birsa Munda was the hero of the tribal society, who had struggled a lot for the tribal society. Bhagwan Birsa Munda was born on November 15, 1875 in Ranchi. Today Ranchi is separated, but at the time when he was born, Bengal, Bihar and Orissa were all together. After a few days of the freedom struggle, Bihar separated from Bengal and after a few months, Orissa separated. At that time Bihar and Jharkhand were all together. Jharkhand was separated from Bihar after a long time in the year 2000. At that time, the government at the center under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee had decided to create a separate state of Jharkhand from Bihar.
