Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated development projects worth more than Rs 6,000 crore at the National Tribal Pride Day program org.zed in Jamui district of Bihar on the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. This includes schools and hostels that shape the future of tribal children, health facilities for tribal women, hundreds of kilometers of roads connecting tribal areas, museums dedicated to the culture of tribals and permanent houses for 1.5 lakh families of tribals. Are included. Through the programme, the Prime Minister virtually inaugurated two tribal museums of Madhya Pradesh and dedicated them to the nation. These include Shri Badal Bhoi Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum of Chhindwara and Raja Shankar Shah and Raghunath Shah Freedom Fighters Museum of Jabalpur.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi, while addressing the state level Tribal Pride Day celebration org.zed at Shahdol district headquarters of Madhya Pradesh virtually from Jamui, Bihar, said that the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda is being celebrated as National Tribal Pride Day in the entire country. Tribal Pride Day is an honest attempt to correct a huge injustice in history. The Prime Minister said that on the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, projects worth more than six thousand crore rupees have been inaugurated and approval letters for permanent houses have been distributed to 1.5 lakh families of the tribal category. Also today, on the day of Dev Diwali, more than 11 thousand tribal families have been allowed to enter their homes.

Shri Badal Bhoi Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum Building located in Chhindwara city has been constructed by the Public Works Department at a cost of Rs 40 crore 69 lakh. The curation work here has been done by Vanya Sansthan under the Tribal Affairs Department. It has been constructed on the available land of the old Tribal Museum. This place is situated on Pench-Pachmarhi road. There are many scenic and important places related to the tribal freedom struggle around the museum.
Raja Shankar Shah and Raghunath Shah Freedom Fighters Museum
A museum was constructed in Jabalpur in the year 2021 with the cooperation of the State Government and the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs in honor of Raja Shankar Shah and Kunwar Raghunath Shah, symbols of unique bravery and indomitable courage. It has been named Raja Shankar Shah and Raghunath Shah Freedom Fighters Museum. In this museum built on one acre of land, the restoration and curation work of the museum building has been done by the Indian Cultural Fund (INTACH, New Delhi) at a cost of Rs 14 crore 26 lakh.
