New Delhi, 4 December (Hindustan Reporter). Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Indian Navy on the occasion of Navy Day on Wednesday and said that the one who controls the sea is almighty.
Prime Minister Modi wrote in the post on X, “On Navy Day, we salute the brave soldiers of the Indian Navy who protect our seas with unmatched courage and dedication. Their commitment ensures the safety, security and prosperity of our nation. We are also proud of India’s rich maritime history.”
The Prime Minister has also shared a video on Instagram in which he shared some excerpts from his speech at last year’s Navy Day event. In this, the Prime Minister referred to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s slogan ‘Jalamev Yasya, Balamev Tasya’ and said that the one who controls the sea is almighty. Today this historic day of 4th December blesses us. On this day, we also salute those heroes who have made the supreme sacrifice for the motherland. The Indian Navy provides defense and security to our coastlines. Our Indian Navy has shown its valor on various occasions, be it the liberation war of Goa or the Indo-Pak war of 1971. The Indian Navy has come forward with equal enthusiasm in the work of humanity. It has been said only for you that let us be a new example, let us grow and be a new wonder, do not bow down, do not stop, move forward, move forward. And this roar of yours is filling every Indian with enthusiasm. I especially congratulate all the members of the Naval family on Navy Day.
