The new year has started and there is some relief on the very first day. On January 1, 2025, oil and gas marketing companies have reduced the prices of LPG cylinders. From Delhi to Mumbai, the price of gas cylinder has reduced by Rs 14-16. However, companies have cut the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders, while the prices of domestic LPG cylinders (14 kg) have remained unchanged even at the beginning of the new year.

 

LPG cylinder became so cheap

The new prices of 19 kg LPG cylinder have been announced on January 1, 2025, the first day of the year. According to the updated prices on the IOCL website, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in the capital Delhi has now become Rs 1,804 from January 1. Which was Rs 1818.50 on December 1. That means the price of one cylinder has reduced by Rs 14.50. Its prices have changed not only in Delhi but also in other metros of the country.

This is the new rate in Mumbai-Kolkata

Excluding the capital Delhi, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder in Kolkata has decreased from Rs 1,927 to Rs 1,911 since January 1. Here the price of one cylinder has reduced by Rs 16. Along with this, the price of cylinder has also reduced by Rs 15 in Mumbai and the price of commercial cylinder which was available for Rs 1771 in December has become Rs 1756. Talking about Chennai, a 19 kg cylinder priced at Rs 1980.50 will now be available for Rs 1966 from January 1, 2025.

19 kg LPG cylinder became costlier on December 1st

Before this, last month i.e. on 1st December, there was a big shock of inflation and the prices of 19 kg gas cylinder were increased. On December 1, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in the national capital Delhi has become Rs 1818.50, which was Rs 1802 in November. In Kolkata it is Rs. 1911.50 to Rs. In 1927, Mumbai it was Rs. 1754.50 to Rs. 1771 and in Chennai Rs. 1964.50 to Rs. 1980.50 done.

Domestic LPG gas cylinder prices stable

For a long time, the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder (LPG Price Change) are being changed, but there has been no change in the price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder. It is available only on August 1st. Its prices have been kept constant even on January 1 and it is available in Delhi for Rs 803. Apart from this, its price remains at Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai.
