A press conference was org.zed on Friday in the auditorium of the District Collectorate under the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and 4th Tribal Pride Day in Daman district of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
This program was presided over by the Deputy Collector (General) at 3.30 pm. During this, Deputy Collector (General) Madam congratulated all the people from the media on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary and fourth Tribal Pride Day and provided information about Dharti Aaba Janjati Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan. Deputy Collector Madam told everyone some important things related to the life of Lord Birsa Munda. She told everyone that we need to spread awareness about Dharti Aaba Janjati Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan among the people. The goal of Dharti Aaba Janjati Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan is to eliminate critical gaps in social infrastructure, health, education, livelihood through 25 interventions implemented through convergence and outreach by 17 ministries of the Government of India. This is the time for tribal areas and communities.

It is worth noting that to honor all the tribal freedom fighters and to remember their contribution in the freedom movement and to protect the cultural heritage, the fourth Tribal Pride Day will be celebrated this year during the period from 15 November 2024 to 26 November 2024.
