New Delhi, 15 November (HS). Today, the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is being celebrated with great pomp across the country. On the eve of Prakash Parv, President Draupadi Murmu greeted the countrymen.
President Murmu said in his greeting message, “On the occasion of Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, I extend my hearty congratulations and best wishes to all Indians living in the country and abroad, especially the Sikh brothers and sisters. Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Japji Sahib emphasizes on love, faith, truth and sacrifice. His teachings lead us to the path of moral conduct. “He introduced the practice of community kitchen, known as langar and gave the message of brotherhood.”
The President said, “Let us all adopt the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in our daily lives and promote the spirit of unity and equality in the society.”
