Lucknow, 18 November (H.S.). Uttar Pradesh Eastern Telecom Circle Telecom Department has started preparing to install seventy cell on wheels (COW) in the fair area for smooth telecom services in Mahakumbh 2025. All cell on wheels will be established in the fair area before December 15.
During the Mahakumbh during the Mahakumbh, officials of the Prayagraj Regional Office of Uttar Pradesh Eastern LSA Telecom Department have started the work of putting necessary towers to deal with the bad network problem during the sudden increasing crowd. Officials associated with the Lucknow headquarters of the Department of Telecommunications, who are trying for smooth telecom services, have also camped in Prayagraj.
AK Mishra, working in Prayagraj Telecom Department, said that 6403 Base Trench (BTS) is working within Prayagraj at present. BTS, working in the urban area of Prayagraj, is associated with 1319 BTS Five G and 4073 BTS FourG technology.
He said that all the works are being completed in the presence of top officials of the Department of Telecommunications regarding Maha Kumbh. The Department of Telecommunications is going to use its best technology for better networks on bathing ghats and main routes.
Experts in the telecom sector say that SAIL on Wheels (COW) is a portable mobile cellular site. The temporary network and wireless coverage starts with the active COW. Where cellular coverage is minimal, it is used.
