Priyanka Gandhi will command Congress elections: After a continuous defeat, the Congress has finally started considering a plan to create a strong election management system. Its command can be handed over to Priyanka Gandhi. Currently, the election management system of the party under the leadership of Sunil Kanukulu, which is the status of cabinet minister in Karnataka, is working in a very chaotic manner. Many senior Congress leaders, especially Sachin Pilot, have expressed a desire to work with Priyanka for the upcoming assembly elections and 2029 Lok Sabha elections.

The possibility of mid -term election cannot be ruled out.

The Congress estimates that the next Lok Sabha election may be long before May 2029. Apart from this, the President and Vice President elections are due in July-August 2027, which can change the power equation of BJP and NDA. Due to which the possibility of mid -term election cannot be ruled out. Under such circumstances, a strong and full -time election management system has not only become important for the Congress, but is also necessary to maintain his presence as a prominent player in politics.

Priyanka can get a big responsibility

Apart from this, the party will also change the in -charge of half a dozen states. A new in -charge will be appointed here. The important thing is that Priyanka Gandhi, MP from Wayanad, holds the post of general secretary without any charge in the Vadra Party. In such a situation, they can be given the charge of a large state or they can be given a big role by making election management mechanisms.

In such a situation, many leaders considered close to the party high command like BK Hariprasad, Sachin Rao, Meenakshi Natarajan, Srinivas Biwi, Pargat Singh, Ajay Kumar Lallu, Harish Chaudhary, Jignesh Mevani, Krishna Alawaru, Mohammad Javed, Abhishek Dutt, Prakash Joshi and Ganesh Godiyal may return.

‘Inactive’ members will be dismissed

The Congress Working Committee (CWC) is likely to have major changes. All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge and Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi have decided to expel the ‘passive’ members. Which includes AK Antony, Ambika Soni, Mukul Wasnik and Anand Sharma.

The party leadership will have to include some newly appointed officials in the 36 -member CWC and create some new seats in the working committee. The posts of Jairam Ramesh, Gaurav Gogoi, Randeep Surjewala and Charanjit Singh Channi are also becoming vacant.

Elections are likely to be held in Assam early next year, so Gaurav Gogoi is likely to be made the face of Congress. Surjewala wants to lead the Congress unit in Haryana and Channi Punjab. Last week, Channi’s name was proposed as AICC General Secretary, but he is more interested in Punjab politics.

Jairam Ramesh can also be dismissed.

Apart from this, Randeep Surjewala, Bhupesh Baghel, TS Singh Dev, Bhanwar Jitendra Singh or Ashok Gehlot can also see new responsibility.

It is being said that it has been decided to replace Jairam Ramesh, general secretary of the communication department, but the high command could not find a better option for him in terms of seniority. In such a situation, it is possible that at this stage, under their aegis, new options can be experienced gradually.
