APSC CCE Recruitment 2025: The Assam Police Service Commission (APSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2025 on its official website, apsc.nic.in.

As per the official notice, The Commission holds the power to revoke any of the applicant’s candidature if an ineligibility condition is discovered. If any information disclosed by the applicant is proven to be untrue at any point, the candidate shall be penalized in accordance with applicable laws/rules. The Commission’s decision regarding the eligibility of an applicant for admission to the Examination shall be final.

The fact that a Certificate of Admission has been given does not mean that the Commission has finally approved the candidate’s candidacy. Applicants should be aware that the Commission will only begin verifying eligibility criteria after they have qualified for the Main Examination.

APSC CCE Recruitment 2025: Admit card

The Commission’s Website will host an E-Admission Certificate identifying the qualified applicant’s Roll Number, Venue, and Examination Programme.

Students must bring one of the following photo IDs with them to the examination hall, in addition to their admit card.

(i) Pan Card.

(ii) Driving Licence.

(iii) Voter ID Card.

(iv) Passport.

(v) ID Card issued by the Educational Institution where he/she is studying presently.

(vi) ID Card issued by Government or Public Sector Undertaking.

(vii) Bank Passbook containing photograph.

APSC CCE Recruitment 2025: Selection process

The APSC CCE 2025 will be divided into two phases: the preliminary examination and the main examination, which will involve a written test and an interview/personality test. The preliminary test comprises two General Studies papers, each worth 200 marks. Applicants who pass the preliminary examination will be qualified to take the main exam. The main exam is written, which is followed by an interview to determine the applicant’s personality, knowledge, and fitness for administrative positions.

The Main Examination will be held only in Guwahati. Yet, the APSC has said that examination centres and dates are subject to change owing to unforeseen circumstances.

APSC CCE Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria

To qualify for the APSC CCE 2025, applicants have to fulfil the following specifications:

1. Must be an Indian citizen.

2. Age limit: 21-38 years as of January 1, 2024 (age relaxation applies to designated groups).

3. Must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

4. Be fluent in Assamese or any other official, associate official, or tribal language of the state.

5. Must be a registered applicant in an area employment office and an original resident of Assam.
