Indian women’s cricket team’s young batsman Pratika Raval has emerged as an influential partner in One Day International cricket. On January 15, she scored the first century of her career, and thus became the center of attention. Pratika has performed brilliantly in her first six matches and has scored runs, due to which Shefali Verma’s place in the team seems to be in danger.

In the third ODI against Ireland at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, Pratika completed a century in 100 balls, in which she hit 14 fours. Smriti Mandhana also batted fast in this match, while Pratika played with patience, rotated the strike and contributed to the scoreboard. After the fall of Mandhana’s wicket, Pratika increased her pace and scored her first ODI century.

24-year-old Pratika Raval has played 6 ODI matches so far, in which she has scored a total of 400 runs. By scoring 290 runs in his first 5 matches, he showed that he is capable of scoring runs as per the requirement of the team. His best score is 110 runs, and he has batted at an average of 58 and a strike rate of 86.56. Apart from this, he also has 3 half-centuries to his name, which proves his talent. This performance of Pratika will definitely strengthen her place in the team.
