Islamabad: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan’s party ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’ (PTI) has once again sounded the trumpet of a major movement in the country. Due to which there has been a stir in Pakistan. Imran Khan has given the message that the shackles of slavery will not be tolerated and will be eradicated. After his announcement, the government has made tight security arrangements in view of the proposed demonstrations in Islamabad on Sunday.

Imran Khan has called on the public to unite to “break the chains of slavery”. The Pakist. government closed highways leading to the national capital, partially suspended internet and mobile services and halted public transport to stop the PTI protests in Islamabad. Containers were parked at various places and important roads were also blocked. Besides, a large number of security forces have also been deployed.
Intention to oppose PTI
The PTI leadership has un.mously decided that the protest will be held on Sunday as planned and will not be postponed until the objective is achieved. PTI leaders held a high-level meeting at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday to decide the strategy for the protest. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said he would reach Swabi at 3 pm to inspect preparations for the proposed protest and lead the party’s march towards Islamabad.
