According to a White House statement, the United States announced a trade talks with China during a talks held in Geneva on Sunday. US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant confirmed that adequate progress has been made and described the discussion as productive, which is expected to release more information on Monday.
The statement quoted Besant as saying, “I am happy to say that we have made enough progress in very important business talks between America and China. First, I want to thank my Swiss hosts. The Swiss government has shown a lot of kindness by giving us this great place, and I think it has given us a lot of productivity. We will give detailed information tomorrow, but I can tell you that I can tell you that the talk is produced.”
According to the ANI report, the statement said, “We were present with the Deputy Prime Minister, the two Deputy Ministers, who were integrally involved, the Ambassador Jamison and I were present themselves. And I spoke to President Trump, as the Ambassador Jamison did last night, and he has complete knowledge of what is going on. So, there will be a full briefing tomorrow morning.”
