Indian President Draupadi Murmu has also reached Vatican to attend the funeral of Pope Francis. Today, the Indian flag has also been tilted, declaring national mourning.

The funeral of Pope Francis will include delegations from 130 foreign countries. It consists of 10 heads of state and 10 emperors. US President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, Prince William of Britain, Brazilian President Lewis Inecio Lula Da Silva and many other world representatives and dignitaries will be present.

 

Pope Francis will die on 21 April 2025. His health deteriorated in February. Due to this, he was admitted to the hospital. During the investigation, doctors found that both of their lungs had pneumonia. They are starting treatment. During this time, the doctor advised him to rest completely. But suddenly his health deteriorated. He was placed on ventilator for a few days. Pope Francis eventually breathed his last at the age of 88. The real name of Pope Francis was George Mario Bergoglyo.

Indian President will stay in Vatican for two days

Indian President Draupadi Murmu is on a two -day visit to the Vatican to attend the funeral of Pope Francis. On Friday (April 25), the President paid tribute to Pope Francis at St. Peters Basilica.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi mourned the death of Pope Francis. The Prime Minister said that he was deeply saddened by the demise of Pope Francis. Millions of people will remember Pope Francis as a symbol of humility, compassion and spiritual courage.

The Pope is cremated in a religious manner. In this, the Pope has been buried in the ground. Their bodies are equipped with holy clothes. The Pope wears religious clothes on his body. Apart from this, soil and coins are also kept under the head. The Pope’s body is placed in three coffins. The first coffin is made of saru wood. The second coffin is made of glass wood, while the third coffin is made of oak wood.

The Pope was cremated in front of St. Peters Basilica. Many dignitaries, bishops, religious leaders and common people pay tribute to the Pope during the funeral. The Pope was then buried in the caves below the basilica.
