The seventh match of the Champions Trophy 2025 between Australia and South Africa on Tuesday could not begin due to rain. Rawalpindi was raining long before the match started and continues continuously, due to which the toss has not been done for the match. Meanwhile, former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif has asked questions on not covering the entire ground of Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Former cricketer Mohammad Kaif shared a picture of the ground on social media, which has just covered the place around the pitch. They are worried that if the rain stops then the match will not be started immediately. If the entire ground cover remains, then things will be easy.

Mohammad Kaif tweeted and wrote, “It is a shame that Rawalpindi Ground is not completely covered. Very important match- South Africa vs Australia- maybe this issue goes waste because no one paid attention to it. Did the hosts use ICC money wisely? ”

The Group B match of the Champions Trophy between Australia and South Africa was canceled on Tuesday due to continuous rains. The toss could not be done due to bad weather. Seeing the situation getting worse, the match authorities canceled the game after a few more than three hours from the scheduled time. Both teams won their first match in Group B.
