The state’s politics has been hot with the meeting of Chief Ministers and representatives of non-BJP ruled states convened by DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) over the issue of delimitation in Tamil Nadu. In protest against this meeting, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) demonstrated by showing black flags across Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu BJP President K.K. Annamalai staged a protest outside her house wearing a black shirt and accused DMK of misleading the public.

BJP accused DMK of doing ‘drama’

BJP leader K. Annamalai launched a scathing attack on the DMK government and said that this meeting is only a political drama.

“The delimitation meeting is a big drama. When the central government has already made it clear that there will be no reduction in the number of Lok Sabha seats, then why is DMK doing this drama?”

He alleged that the DMK government is misleading the people of the state and trying to spread fear unnecessarily through this meeting.

BJP’s attack on Stalin: “The state’s rights are losing!”

BJP leader Annamalai, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Taking a dig at Stalin, he said that,

“Stalin has called Tamil Nadu’s rights to the Chief Ministers of neighboring states for this meeting.”

Referring to the Mekadatu Dam Project with Karnataka, especially he said that,

“Stalin’s move is against the interests of the state, and BJP rejects it completely.”

BJP protested against this meeting, protesting through black flags across the state and shouted slogans against DMK.

Who attended the delimitation meeting, who was far away?
