On Sunday, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam claimed to be the hands of people associated with Bangladesh behind the violence. He alleged that this was part of the pre -planned conspiracy and such activities would not be accepted in Maharashtra.

Nagpur violence: What is the whole matter?

Violence erupted in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Nagpur on 17 March.

  • Demonstrated under the leadership of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), demanding the removal of the grave of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.

  • During this time, the rumor of burning a sheet written by rectangle spread, which made the situation uncontrollable.

  • 33 policemen were injured in clashes and stone pelting, including three DCP level officers.

  • Many parts of the city saw large arson and violence.

Sanjay Nirupam’s big claim – Bangladeshi link and Mujahideen activities

Sanjay Nirupam made a big allegation about the Nagpur violence and said that people associated with Bangladesh can be involved in this incident.

  • Nirupam’s claim: “The violence was completely pre -employed and is part of a large conspiracy.”

  • He also alleged that a person arrested had raised money through social media for Mujahideen activities.

  • Along with this, he accused the Shiv Sena (UBT) of supporting such groups.

  • They said, “Is Shiv Sena (UBT) now joining Mujahideen? Is Uddhav Thackeray and Sanjay Raut supporting such organizations?”

‘Shiv Sena (UBT) face changed’ – Nirupam’s sharp attack

Sanjay Nirupam directly questioned the leadership and political strategies of the Shiv Sena (UBT).

  • They said, “Matoshree (Uddhav Thackeray’s residence in Mumbai) will soon have a picture of Aurangzeb near the picture of Balasaheb Thackeray and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.”

  • His gesture was that the Shiv Sena (UBT) had deviated from the ideology of its Hindutva.

CM Fadnavis clarified – ‘Hurry to say anything on foreign connections’

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis made a statement on speculation arising about the Bangladesh or foreign link of Nagpur violence.

  • Fadnavis’s statement: “It is too early to say that this violence is related to Bangladesh or any foreign power.”

  • He assured that the truth will be revealed after the investigation is completed.
