Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The owners of spa, massage centres and beauty parlours will have to provide full details of the staff working at their institutions along with their identification documents to police.
The instructions under Section 163 of BNSS have come after a crackdown on spa centres on Saturday. The details of the staff should be submitted at the local police stations in the prescribed format, commissioner of police Bhopal Harinarayanchari Mishra said.
The same guidelines will be applicable to private security agencies, courier and delivery boys, hotel and restaurant staff, labourers, mechanics etc engaged in construction works. Their employers have been told to submit details with ID proofs at the police stations.
Besides, details and ID proofs of paying guests, tenants, domestic helps, workers, those staying at hotels, lodges, resorts and hostels will have to be submitted at police stations or uploaded on Madhya Pradesh Police Citizen Portal.
According to police, those running travel agencies should rent out their vehicles to people only after carrying out their verification and taking their identity proofs.
FIR registered
Misrod police on Tuesday registered an FIR against owners of four spa centres being run at a mall for not providing details and identity proofs of their staff to police.
The persons against whom FIR has been registered are Anil Kumar, Vikas Yadav, Ravi Singh Rajput and Deepak Bharti. All four spa centres were raided by police teams on Saturday but were found locked.
