Hamirpur, 28 November (HS). In a case of murder that took place over a dispute between youths who were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony, the police on Thursday arrested the accused and unveiled the incident.
Four days ago, Rahul alias Sughar Singh, son of Rajbahadur, resident of village Chakdaha of Maudaha police station area and deceased Jagannath Kushwaha, son of Lalli Kushwaha alias Khushali, village Chakdaha Kotwali Maudaha, had gone to village Bighana on a bike. While returning, due to a dispute between the two regarding the bike falling, Rahul killed Jagannath and threw him in the bushes. After whose dead body was found, the police registered a case on the complaint of the family members of the deceased and started searching for the accused.
While successfully unveiling the incident, Inspector Umesh Singh, in-charge of Maudaha police station, said that Rahul alias Sughar Singh, resident of Chakdaha, resident of village Jagannath and the accused person of the same village, Rajbahadur, had gone to the wedding ceremony riding a bike. Where both of them consumed alcohol. While returning home from the wedding, he rode the deceased’s bike and again consumed alcohol on the way back. While on the way, his car became unbalanced and fell. After abusing and beating Jagannath Kushwaha, Rahul alias Sughar Singh, son of Rajbahadur, resident of Chakdaha, killed Jagannath Kushwaha with a stick and threw him in the nearby bushes.
There was p.c in the area when the dead body was found in the bushes. The police had registered a case on the complaint of the family members. Superintendent Deeksha Sharma had taken cognizance of the case and formed teams to uncover the incident and make arrests. On which the teams formed successfully exposed and arrested the accused person and presented him before the court from where he has been sent to jail.
