Mumbai: The Oshiwara police have arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly cheating during a written exam for police driver recruitment on Saturday morning. He was reportedly using an electronic device with a chip to cheat at the exam centre at Raigad Military School in Oshiwara.
About The Case
During the exam, the accused was seen repeatedly touching his ear, which raised the supervisor’s suspicion. Upon inspection, a SIM card connected to a tiny Bluetooth device was found inserted deep inside his ear.
Officials said the candidate faced difficulty in receiving answers due to poor connectivity. He allegedly went to the washroom during the exam to find a better signal. The police have filed an FIR but have not disclosed the candidate’s name or other details.
