More Details

Jyoti was a local who stepped out of her home to take darshan at a nearby Hanuman temple. However, she started creating a reel on the busy road with her sister-in-law, Pooja.

Her dance performance in the middle of the street blocked traffic movement and forced the vehicles to wait until she walked towards the roadside.

The now-viral video pointed out the signal was green, but the vehicles stood behind the zebra line as she danced on the street. Dressed in vibrant yellow Indian attire and a dupatta, she recreated dance moves on the ‘Sasu Tera Ladla Man Pike Love You Bole Se’ song.

As she moved around dancing, the vehicles had to remain standstill.

Police Action Follows

The police wife’s act attracted legal consequences.

According to local media reports, Head Constable Jasbir filed a complaint against Jyoti’s dance performance. The Chandigarh Police registered a case against Jyoti and her sister-in-law Pooja.

Husband Suspended

Her husband also faced legal action as Jyoti had uploaded the reel from his Instagram account online. The cop was identified as Ajay Kundu, a constable posted in the Sector 19 police station. He was suspended after his wife’s actions caused a traffic jam.

However, the women were granted bail soon.
