Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The two exams of police constable recruitment test-2023 had been finished and the result is awaited. Officials said Madhya Pradesh Employment Selection Board might announce the result in next week.
Following the delay in the result, the police headquarters had put the fresh recruitment process on hold. The police headquarters had given the proposal to ESB to fill 7,090 vacancies for the post of constable general duty and 321 posts of technical services in the state police.
The recruitment process was started and the last date to fill the application form was June 26. The MPESB written exam that started from August 12 ended on September 12.
After the written examination, the second phase of the test, physical proficiency test (PPT) will start. The PHQ will adopt Olympic-level standard in selection. Officials informed that 58,700 candidates were selected for physical test. ESB director Sanket Malviya informed that the results of both written and physical test were being prepared. He claimed that the result was planned to announce before January 10 next week.
Recruitment process
ADG, selection, Sanjeev Shami, said, “In the police recruitments, those who fail in exam appears for other exam and the process ends when the candidate gets selected or passes the maximum age barrier. The recruitment process is also based on the same pattern.”
