Pune: Senior Citizen’s Blood Pressure Spikes After Receiving Water Bill Of Whopping Rs 10 Lakh From PMC | Anand Chaini

Pune Municipal Commissioner Dr Rajendra Bhosale had given March 24 as the deadline for submitting bills and documents for various development works of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). But considering the number and scope of the PMC regional offices, the contractor associations had demanded an extension. Accordingly, now all the regional offices and zones 1 to 5 have been given a deadline of March 29 to submit bills. Chief Accounts and Finance Officer Ulka Kalaskar have issued orders in this regard.

“The deadline for submitting the bills has now been extended till March 29. This extension will be for all regional offices and circles,” said Chief Accounts and Finance Officer Ulka Kalaskar.

In a letter addressed to Additional Municipal Commissioner Prithviraj BP, City Engineer Prashant Waghmare and Kalaskar, the Contractors Association, led by President Vishal Bhosale emphasised that the existing timeframe is insufficient given the extensive scope of work managed by various regional offices and circles. Therefore, the necessity for an extension is to ensure the accurate and timely submission of bills for the ongoing development projects.
