Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Prayagraj today. On this occasion, he took a bath in the holy confluence of Mahakumbh. During this, he worshiped the mother Ganga. He was accompanied by many dignitaries including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Prime Minister Modi took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. Prime Minister Modi wore saffron clothes on the occasion. The garland of Rudraksha was also seen in his neck and hands. He took a dip in the confluence with chanting.
Earlier, when PM Modi’s aircraft reached Bamrauli Airport, Governor Anandiben Patel, CM Yogi and both deputy CM welcomed him. Prime Minister Modi reached DPS helipad by helicopter from the airport. From here, his convoy reached VIP Ghat in Arail. From where they reached the confluence by boat.
It is noteworthy that 38.29 crore people have taken a holy bath in Mahakumbh so far. Till Wednesday, 47.30 lakh devotees have taken a holy bath. Prior to PM Modi, many celebrities including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have taken holy baths. Apart from this, representatives of many countries have also taken a dip in the Mahakumbh.
