Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Haryana on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti on 14 April 2025. This tour is not just a formality but is seen as the beginning of the new era of development. PM Modi will first reach Hisar, where he will inaugurate the new terminal of Maharaja Agrasen Airport and flag off the first commercial flight from Hisar to Ayodhya.
Hisar Airport gets new flight
The laying of the new terminal of Hisar Airport at the hands of Prime Minister Modi is a historic step. The airport will now prove to be a major boon not only for Hisar, but also for the people of nearby districts like Bhiwani, Fatehabad and Sirsa.
- Hisar-Ayodhya flight: With the introduction of this service, religious tourism will also be strengthened. Devotees going to Ayodhya will no longer need a long journey.
- New terminal facilities: The second phase of the terminal will be developed, including modern passenger facilities and technological development.
Foundation stone of projects worth ₹ 7100 crore in Yamunanagar
After his program from Hisar, PM Modi will go to Yamunanagar, where he will lay the foundation stone of various development projects worth about ₹ 7100 crore. These projects will speed up infrastructure, industrial growth and public welfare schemes in Haryana.
CM Naib Singh Saini’s statement
Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini termed the PM’s visit as historic and said:
“The Prime Minister’s visit shows his commitment to the development of Haryana. The state will get a new vision and direction through airports and other projects.”
He also said that there will be a tremendous increase in business, tourism and investment through air service. This will prove to be a big step towards connecting Haryana with the country and the world.

A day before Haryana tour, PM Modi wrote on social media platform ‘X’:
“Tomorrow will be dedicated to Haryana’s Vikas Yatra on Ambedkar Jayanti. Will launch the commercial flight between Hisar-Ayodhya at around 10:15 am and laying the foundation stone of the new terminal building of the airport. There is also a program related to many projects in Yamunanagar later in the afternoon.”
