PM Modi Explains The Meaning Of Ashok Chakra In Tri-Color To Chile’s President | X/@sidhant
Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chile’s President Gabriel Boric Font at Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Tuesday. Boric is on a state visit to India from 1-5 April at the invitation of PM Modi.
Boric is accompanied by a high-level delegation, which includes ministers, members of parliament, senior officials, trade unions, media and prominent Chileans associated with India-Chile cultural relations.
In the meeting, the two leaders held discussion with the aim of increasing bilateral relations in various fields including economic, commercial and social sectors.
A video of the meeting has surfaced. In the video, the Chilean President, who is walking step by step with PM Modi, suddenly stops and starts asking the PM about the Ashok Chakra in the tri-color.
In the video, it can be seen that PM Modi and the President of Chile are seen coming out of a room, PM Modi and the President of Chile are moving forward while talking in step with each other, suddenly the President of Chile looks to his right and moves towards the tricolor and touches the Ashok Chakra. After waiting for a few seconds, PM Modi puts his hand on the wheel of the national flag and starts explaining its the significance of the wheel to him.
Significance Of Ashoka Chakra
The Ashoka Chakra taken from the Ashoka Pillar to the tricolour has a total of 24 spokes. Along with displaying the qualities of man, it also gives the message of all-round development, progress, continuity and duty.
