Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the WAVES Summit 2025 in Mumbai, focusing on the importance of creativity and India’s role in the global content landscape. He urged creators to “tell your untold story to the world”, emphasising the need for unique and meaningful storytelling.

PM Modi spoke about creative responsibility, saying extra efforts are needed to ensure humans don’t become robots. He said humans should be more sensitive, and this can be achieved through music, song, and dance.

-Modi noted that India has a lot more to offer. Besides being a country of over a billion people, it is also a land of a billion stories.

-He said that right from the first moment, the WAVES Summit is roaring with purpose and drawing global attention.

-The Prime Minister explained that WAVES is not merely an acronym. It represents a wave of culture, creativity, film, music, gaming, and storytelling.

-Speaking about the future, PM Modi said that the foundation for a global ecosystem of talent and creativity is being laid at the WAVES Summit.
