Prime Minister The meeting between Narendra Modi and Bangladesh’s interim government administrator Mohammad Yunus has concluded in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. This meeting between the two leaders is considered very important. After the change of power in Bangladesh, Mohammad Yunus has been appointed as Administrator of the Interim Government.

Yunus and Modi’s first meeting after assuming power

It is worth noting that the relations between India and Bangladesh have deteriorated since Mohammad Yunus came to power. Even the activities of the intruders on the border have started increasing. Also, during this time voices are being raised against Muhammad Yunus from within the country. People are demanding early elections in Bangladesh.

Mohammad Yunus was trying to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the past several days. The meeting was scheduled during the BIMSTEC summit at the insistence of Muhammad Yunus. Earlier, the two leaders were seen sitting separately from each other during dinner.

Muhammad Yunus shared the picture.

Thai Prime Minister Patongarne Shivnath organized a dinner on Wednesday night during the BIMSTEC summit. In this meal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh’s interim government chief Mohammad Yunus were seen sitting together. Yunus shared some pictures from the office, in which he was sitting next to Prime Minister Modi at the Shangri-La Hotel on the banks of the Chao Fraya River.

Now the possibility of Narendra Modi’s interaction with Mohammad Yunus, the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, has increased. This was the first meeting between Modi and Yunus after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left the country in August last year. Modi’s meeting with Younus is important because relations between India and Bangladesh have deteriorated after Sheikh Hasina’s withdrawal from the post of Hasina and attacks on minorities in the country. The visit is also important in the context of Younus’s recent visit to China, where he made some comments about the northeastern region of India, which India did not like.
